Tennessee Titans first-round pick Isaiah Wilson was arrested Friday night for driving under the influence, the Davidson County Sheriff's Office confirmed to Buck Reising of AtoZSports Nashville.
"We are aware of the situation," the Titans said in a statement obtained by ESPN's Adam Schefter. "This is not conduct that is indicative of the character of our football team and we are working through details on how to proceed."
Tennessee drafted Wilson 29th overall out of Georgia with the expectation he would immediately compete for the starting job at right tackle. But two stints on the COVID-19 reserve list and a trespass warning after he attended a college party in August threw a wrench in those plans.
Wilson, 21, spent three years with the Bulldogs and was selected to the All-SEC second team last season.
The Titans are scheduled to open their season against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.
