Arizona Cardinals cornerback Robert Alford suffered a torn pectoral that will knock him out for the 2020 season, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports, citing a source.
Alford suffered the injury Sunday at practice.
It's the second straight season Alford will miss due to injury since signing with the Cardinals in early 2019. The eight-year pro fractured his tibia last year during the preseason and missed the entire regular season.
Alford signed a three-year, $22.5-million deal with Arizona last February.
