The New Orleans Saints and free-agent linebacker Nigel Bradham agreed to a one-year deal Thursday, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Bradham spent the last four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles after starting his career with the Buffalo Bills, who took him in the fourth round of the 2012 draft.

He helped Philly to a Super Bowl title in 2017 and led the NFC East club in tackles during three of his four years with the team.

The Saints needed to add depth to their linebacker group, which is headlined by 2019 first-team All-Pro Demario Davis, Kiko Alonso, Alex Anzalone, and third-round pick Zack Baun.
