The Seattle Seahawks and quarterback Geno Smith have agreed to terms on a new one-year deal, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports.
Smith will reprise his role as the primary backup to Russell Wilson. He signed with Seattle in 2019 but didn't enter a game.
The seven-year vet last suited up during the 2018 campaign with the Los Angeles Chargers.
It could be a while until Smith is called into action again. Wilson has yet to miss a game since entering the league in 2012.
