Report: Dolphins trading former 1st-rounder Harris to Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to acquire former first-round defensive end Charles Harris from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a draft pick, a source told Jason Butt of The Athletic.
The Dolphins will receive a 2021 seventh-round selection for the No. 22 pick in the 2017 draft, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Harris, 25, recorded 3.5 sacks across 41 games in Miami.
From 2013-2018, the only Dolphins first-round pick to make it to a second contract with Miami was DeVante Parker.

The Dolphins have worked to remake their defensive line this offseason. They brought in pass-rushers Emmanuel Ogbah and Shaq Lawson during free agency and released their 2019 sack leader, Taco Charlton, on Friday.
In Atlanta, Harris will likely act as a depth piece behind Takkarist McKinley and free-agent addition Dante Fowler Jr.
