Free-agent tight end Trey Burton has agreed to terms with the Indianapolis Colts, his agency announced.

The Chicago Bears released Burton last week. He's signing a one-year deal with the Colts at the minimum salary, as the Bears still owe him the $4 million that was guaranteed in his contract, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Burton enjoyed career highs of 54 receptions for 569 yards and six touchdowns with the Bears in 2018, but he battled injuries and was limited to just 14 catches for 84 yards in eight games last season.
