Belichick tops Forbes' list of highest-paid coaches in U.S. sports

Bill Belichick is the highest-paid coach working in American sports right now, according to Forbes.

With an average contract value of $12 million, the New England Patriots head coach claimed the top spot on Forbes' list of the 20 highest-paid coaches in U.S. professional and college sports. Other NFL bench bosses to crack the list include Pete Carroll, Sean Payton, John Harbaugh, and Ron Rivera, who was fired by the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday after eight-plus seasons.
