Lions legend Barry Sanders joined the chorus of those irate with the penalties called against Detroit late in Monday night's loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The normally unflappable Hall of Fame running back took to Twitter to call out the NFL for the two hands-to-the-face penalties called against Trey Flowers that allowed the Packers to author a game-winning drive.
That is sickening... the @NFL needs to look at a way to prevent that from happening. Two phantom hands to the face calls really hurts us tonight. Yes, we could have scored TDs, but @Lions played too well to have the game end this way. #DETvsGB @espn
