Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will remain sidelined for the team's three-day minicamp due to a calf injury, but head coach Frank Reich said Tuesday it was a "no brainer" he'll be back for training camp in July, according to ESPN's Mike Wells.

Reich added that the Colts will have a throwing plan for Luck between the two camps in order to get him up to speed, according to The Athletics' Stephen Holder.

Luck missed offseason work the last two years as he recovered from a lingering shoulder injury - which kept him sidelined during the entire 2017 campaign - and Indianapolis is likely being cautious with its franchise player.

The veteran quarterback erased any concerns about his long-term health last year after playing in all 16 regular-season games (plus two playoff contests) while throwing for the second-most touchdowns and yards of his career.
