The Washington Redskins have signed offensive tackle Ereck Flowers, the team confirmed on Monday. He's inking a one-year deal worth $4 million, a source told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Flowers finished last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars after the New York Giants waived him. The Giants drafted the 24-year-old with their ninth overall pick in 2015, and Flowers became a weakness on their offensive line.

Washington plans to try Flowers at guard, but the team could also move him back to tackle in the event of an injury, according to John Keim of ESPN.
