The Indianapolis Colts are re-signing cornerback Pierre Desir to a three-year contract, according to Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Desir's deal is worth $25 million and contains $12 million in guaranteed money, a source told Joel A. Erickson of the Indianapolis Star.

The 28-year-old had a breakout campaign for a much-improved Colts defense after signing a one-year prove-it deal last offseason, racking up 79 total tackles, eight pass defenses, and one interception.

Desir is only the second major signing by the cap-rich Colts this offseason, who also reportedly inked wide receiver Devin Funchess to a one-year pact worth up to $13 million.
