Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said last week that three teams have inquired about trading for receiver Antonio Brown. The San Francisco 49ers are not one of them.

Niners general manager John Lynch said Wednesday at the NFL combine he has yet to have any discussions with the Steelers.

"We have not," Lynch said. "It's funny, the world we live in where one tweet from a player to another turns into interest but it is the world we live in. I can tell you that, like every team in this league, we think the guy's a heck of a football player, but we have not had talks with the Steelers. I can tell you that."

After Brown expressed interest in leaving Pittsburgh, San Francisco tight end George Kittle reached out immediately and franchise legend Jerry Rice said the Niners should pursue the All-Pro wideout.

The Steelers apparently prefer to trade Brown out of conference and the Niners have been mentioned as a popular destination due to their need at the position.
