Chicago brewery's 43-yard FG challenge ends without a winner

There was a big turnout for Goose Island's 43-yard field goal challenge on Saturday, but no one walked away with the prize.

The Chicago brewery issued the challenge Monday in response to criticism directed toward Bears kicker Cody Parkey after he missed a 43-yard field goal attempt in his team's wild-card loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. They initially offered free beer for a year to any fans who could make the kick, but changed it to an all-expense paid trip to an NFL game due to Illinois liquor laws.

Anyone who made the 43-yard field goal and an additional 65-yard field goal also would've won an all-expense paid trip to the Super Bowl.

There were 103 failed attempts in total, though Block Club Chicago reports that several kickers came close.
