Sarah Thomas is set to make history again.

The Mississippi native will become the first woman to ever officiate an NFL playoff game during Sunday's AFC divisional-round game between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Chargers. She'll be working as a down judge in referee Ron Torbert's crew, according to Cameron Filipe of Football Zebras.

Now in her fourth season, Thomas was the first full-time female official to be hired by the NFL. She was also the first woman to officiate a college bowl game.

"I've never set out to (be a trailblazer), but I'm telling you it's an honor," Thomas told NFL.com's Judy Battista when she was hired in 2015. "And I'll just say, for anybody, male or female, go and do something because you love it, not because you're wanting to prove somebody wrong or you want recognition for it."
