Gonzalez, Reed, Bailey highlight 25 HOF semifinalists

Tony Gonzalez, Ed Reed, and Champ Bailey headline the 25 modern-era semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's class of 2019.
Gonzalez, Reed, and Bailey are eligible for induction for the first time.
The 25 semifinalists will be reduced to 15 modern-era finalists before the selection committee meets on Feb. 2 to determine the class of 2019.
The other semifinalists include: Steve Atwater, Ronde Barber, Tony Boselli, Isaac Bruce, LeRoy Butler, Don Coryell, Alan Faneca, Tom Flores, Torry Holt, Steve Hutchinson, Edgerrin James, Jimmy Johnson, Ty Law, John Lynch, Clay Matthews, Kevin Mawae, Karl Mecklenburg, Sam Mills, Richard Seymour, Zach Thomas, Hines Ward, and Darren Woodson.
