Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Dean Pees' premature departure from Sunday's loss against the Indianapolis Colts was due to an issue with a nerve in his eye, according to The Midday 180's Paul Kuharsky.

Pees was taken to a local hospital during the game with what was initially believed to have been a ministroke, but he's since returned to Nashville, Kuharsky notes.

"Everything that would be really worrisome has been ruled out from the neurologists in Indy," head coach Mike Vrabel said Monday.

Vrabel was unsure if Pees will be able to attend next Monday's game against the Houston Texans.
