Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis doesn't believe Lamar Jackson is long for the NFL if he continues to use his legs more than his arm.

"Quarterbacks don't run forever in the NFL," Lewis said following his team's loss to the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley. "Sooner or later, they get hurt, and they don't run the same. But, today, he could run, and he did a good job."

Jackson carried the ball 27 times Sunday, more than any other quarterback in the Super Bowl era, finishing with 117 yards on the ground. He also completed 13 of 19 pass attempts for 150 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in the win over the Bengals.

Despite his Week 11 game plan, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh doesn't envision his first-round rookie accumulating as many carries moving forward.

"I think that's what Lamar felt that it took today," Harbaugh said. "I don't believe it's going to take that many carries every week. It's not what we're going to be shooting for, by any stretch. But, if it takes that many, Lamar will do it. But, no, he took some hits. I think they knew the quarterback was going to run the ball. They were going after him a little bit, as you would expect. That's something that we have to look at going forward."

Jackson filled in for an injured Joe Flacco, whose status is up in the air going into Week 12.
