Bills' Allen day to day, not ruled out vs. Jets
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said rookie quarterback Josh Allen is considered day to day and not ruled out for Sunday's Week 10 game against the New York Jets, according to Mike Rodak of ESPN.
Allen is recovering from an elbow injury suffered in Week 6 and has missed three straight games. McDermott added that Allen has resumed throwing and threw approximately 100 balls on Monday.
McDermott also said quarterback Derek Anderson would start against the Jets if he clears the concussion protocol and Allen is unable to play.
Anderson was removed late in the fourth quarter of Buffalo's Week 8 game against the New England Patriots after taking a sack.
