Receiver Josh Gordon was on the field and in the starting lineup for Monday night's matchup between the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported before the game that Gordon would be disciplined during the Monday nighter for tardiness but would resume regular playing time thereafter.

The Patriots have been short at the receiver position and kept Gordon on the field to begin the game.

Gordon was the target of a deep pass attempt from Tom Brady on the first drive. He caught an 8-yard pass on the second drive.
