Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy has cleared the concussion protocol and is expected to play against the New England Patriots on Monday night, the team announced.

McCoy was pulled from the Bills' Week 7 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts after suffering the injury in the first quarter.

The 30-year-old is averaging a career-worst 3.9 yards per carry this season and hasn't scored a touchdown. He has 329 yards from scrimmage on 76 total touches over six games.

He missed Buffalo's Week 3 game against the Minnesota Vikings due to cracked rib cartilage.
