Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen will miss at least two-to-three games before being evaluated on a week-to-week basis, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Allen's injury is to his ulnar collateral ligament and will not require surgery, Pelissero adds.

The No. 7 pick of the 2018 NFL Draft was taken out late in the third quarter of the Bills' 20-13 loss to the Houston Texans after going 10-for-17 with 84 passing yards and 20 yards on the ground.

With Allen out multiple weeks, head coach Sean McDermott has yet to announce whether Nathan Peterman or recently signed Derek Anderson will be starting against the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday.

Peterman started in Week 1 this season, going 5-for-18 with 24 passing yards and two interceptions against the Baltimore Ravens. He didn't fare much better in relief of Allen on Sunday, completing 50 percent of his throws for one touchdown and two interceptions, including a game-deciding pick-6.
