Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert left Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons after suffering a gruesome ankle injury.

He was carted off the field with his leg in an air cast. Eifert posted four receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown before going down.

The 28-year-old has finished each of the last two seasons on injured reserve because of back injuries. The former Pro Bowler signed a one-year contract in March to stay with the Bengals.
