The Carolina Panthers have a last-minute health concern for Week 1, as star tight end Greg Olsen was added to the team's injury report Saturday with a back injury, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. He's now questionable for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Dallas Cowboys.
Olsen is expected to continue to be Cam Newton's go-to pass-catcher this season, especially considering the Panthers' question marks at wide receiver outside of Devin Funchess.
The veteran tight end missed nine games last season due to a foot injury. If he's unable to suit up, fourth-round rookie Ian Thomas will likely get the nod as Chris Manhertz is also questionable due to a foot injury.
