The first episode of the documentary detailing quarterback Kirk Cousins' free-agent and offseason experience revealed that the New York Jets offered him more than the Minnesota Vikings' winning bid of a fully guaranteed $84 million over three seasons.

In the documentary, shortly after the NFL's "legal tampering" window opened, Cousins gets off the phone with agent Mike McCartney and tells his wife, Julie, that the Jets offered a three-year, $90-million fully-guaranteed deal.

Cousins tells McCartney to go back to the Vikings in an attempt to get them to up their offer from $25 million per year and close the gap.

McCartney later calls and tells Cousins the Vikings offered a guaranteed $28 million per year on a three-year deal.

"It's done as long as I go to Minneapolis and everything checks out," Cousins said.

The deal was officially announced March 15.
