The New York Giants traded offensive lineman Brett Jones, who started 13 games split between center and guard last season, to the Minnesota Vikings for an undisclosed draft pick in 2019, the Giants announced Sunday.
Offensive line appeared to be one of the Vikings' few major concerns heading into the regular season, and the addition of Jones should help shore that up.
The 27-year-old Canadian had been with the Giants since entering the NFL in 2015. He spent his rookie campaign on injured reserve, served as a backup center in 2016, and then moved into a starting role last year.
