Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson is hoping for some hostile New England Patriots fans when the two sides meet in Foxborough for Thursday's preseason matchup.

"Oh yeah. I hope so. I hope they raise hell," Johnson said of Patriots fans Tuesday, according to Tim McManus of ESPN. "They can cuss me, they can say whatever they want. At the end of the day, I'm not blocking them, I'm blocking guys on the edge, so it really doesn't matter what they say."

After his Eagles knocked off the Patriots in February's Super Bowl, Johnson labeled New England as a "fear-based organization" and then took shots at the franchise's supposed "arrogance."

Thursday will be the fans' first chance to voice their displeasure at Johnson and the Eagles as a whole since the Super Bowl.

"I know that I'm not going to be well-liked, this team is not going to be well-liked going there, so it's going to basically bring out our best," Johnson added.
