Tennessee Titans cornerback Adoree' Jackson is one of the most versatile players in the NFL and wants the opportunity to show the full range of his skill set this fall.
Jackson, selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Titans, played primarily as a cornerback during his rookie season, recording 70 tackles, 17 pass deflections, and three forced fumbles.
During his collegiate career at USC, Jackson was used as a running back, wide receiver and return specialist. Entering the 2018 season, Jackson is seeking more offensive touches as the Titans look to get back to the postseason for the second consecutive season, during Mike Vrabel's first season as head coach.
"I'm hoping so," Jackson said on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" on Friday. "I'm that bug in (Vrabel's) ear just trying to make sure I keep being out there if I can. Whatever he needs me to do. Focusing on defense and special teams as in returning, but if he throws me out there I'm going to be excited and fired up."
Jackson ran the ball five times for 55 yards, while gaining 578 kick return yards and 278 punt-return yards, providing the Titans with a potentially game-breaking return specialist. Under a new head coach, it's on Jackson to add an element of dynamic speed to a Titans team that is looking to cement its position as an AFC South power.
