NFLers Josh Norman and Demario Davis made a significant charitable gesture this week.

Norman, a cornerback for the Washington Redskins, and Davis, a linebacker for the New Orleans Saints, loaded shopping cart after shopping cart with toys they purchased at a San Antonio-area Walmart at 3 a.m. Tuesday. The items were delivered to immigrant children who'd been separated from their parents and later released from family detention centers, according to Kimberley A. Martin of the Washington Post.

The duo also delivered backpacks and boxes of pizza.

More than 2,500 migrant children were separated from their parents earlier in June under President Donald Trump's "zero-tolerance" immigration policy. Trump signed an executive order June 20 to end family separations.

Norman and Davis collaborated with the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services in their volunteer efforts.
