Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham may miss spring workouts after recently undergoing surgery on his right ankle, according to ESPN's Tim McManus.

Graham suffered a high ankle sprain on Christmas against the Oakland Raiders but played through the injury during the playoffs. The surgery was done in order to help accelerate the healing process.

The 30-year-old is coming off an excellent season, during which he recorded 47 tackles, 9.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two pass deflections in 15 games. Graham effectively sealed Philadelphia's victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, stripping Tom Brady of the ball with 2:21 left in the fourth quarter before teammate Derek Barnett recovered.

Graham is expected to report to the Eagles' facility on Monday with organized team activities (OTAs) scheduled to begin.
