Report: Carroll, Schneider give depositions to Kaepernick, attorneys

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider provided their depositions to Colin Kaepernick and his attorneys in the quarterback's collusion grievance filed against the NFL, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Carroll told reporters in April that the Seahawks were considering signing Kaepernick, with Russell Wilson, Stephen Morris, and Austin Davis currently on their depth chart. Seattle reportedly postponed a visit with Kaepernick after he declined to stop protesting police brutality and racial inequality during the national anthem.

Kaepernick and his attorneys walked into the NFL headquarters on April 17 to reportedly depose commissioner Roger Goodell as part of his collusion case.

The quarterback has remained unsigned since opting out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers in March 2017, when it became apparent he was no longer in the franchise's long-term plans.
