The Indianapolis Colts have signed free-agent defensive end Chris McCain, the team confirmed in a press release Tuesday.
McCain recorded 20 tackles, five sacks, and two forced fumbles in 15 games for the Los Angeles Chargers during the 2017 season.
The 26-year-old is a welcome addition to a Colts defensive line that needs depth.
In a corresponding move, the Colts waived tight end Randall Telfer with a failed physical designation.
