The Houston Texans have selected defensive back Jermaine Kelly out of San Jose State in the seventh round with the 222nd overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Kelly, the final pick of Houston's 2018 draft, is the second defensive back taken by the Texans after the club selected safety Justin Reid with their first pick of the week in the third round.

The San Jose State product started the last two years as a cornerback, recording just one interception over 20 games.
