Amari Cooper will be a member of the Oakland Raiders for the foreseeable future as the club officially announced Monday they've exercised his fifth-year option through the 2019 season.

Cooper burst onto the scene in his first two years with the club, becoming just the third player in NFL history to record 1,000 receiving yards and 70 catches in each of his first two seasons. That prolific start to his career would see the former Alabama star claim a spot in the Pro Bowl both years.

Cooper struggled to match that production last campaign, recording just 48 catches on 96 targets, but did find the end zone seven times.
