The Seahawks are signing free-agent quarterback Stephen Morris, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The report comes a day after it was revealed Seattle postponed a workout with Colin Kaepernick because of issues related to his protests during the national anthem.
Morris has never played in a regular-season NFL game.
Kaepernick has remained unemployed since March 2017 despite superior production and experience compared to the vast number of quarterbacks signed since he left the San Francisco 49ers.
