The Seattle Seahawks have selected safety Tre Flowers out of Oklahoma State with the 146th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Many expected the Seahawks to address their secondary in this draft after losing Richard Sherman this offseason, but the club waited until its fifth selection to take its first defensive back in Flowers.
The Oklahoma State product could be asked to start with the futures of Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor somewhat in doubt, but will likely be used as a backup in his rookie year.
