What the analysts are saying

  • "Teams are looking to transition him into a hybrid role with the ability to cover tight ends like a safety and support the run like a linebacker. While he's nothing special as an athlete, his competitiveness and play demeanor should earn him a spot as a starter." - Lance Zierlein, NFL.com
  • "An all-conference performer with the athleticism and range to make plays in coverage, White is a well-rounded prospect who puts his ideal frame to good use as a hard-hitting tackler, both in the box and down the field. This year's safety class is fairly deep, but White is talented enough to be off the board before the middle rounds." - Luke Easterling, Draft Wire
