The Pittsburgh Steelers could be making a splash in free agency as a source told Field Yates of ESPN that New England Patriots special teams ace Matthew Slater is visiting the club on Saturday.

Slater has spent his entire 10-year career with New England, making seven Pro Bowls as a special teams player and being named to First-Team All-Pro in 2016.

The Steelers ranked in the middle of the league in yards allowed on kickoff and punt returns, so clearly they are hoping to address that with the possible addition of Slater.
