Report: Kaepernick attends Texans owner's deposition in collusion case

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

There appears to be a legal reason behind the Colin Kaepernick sighting in Houston on Thursday.

The unsigned quarterback attended Houston Texans owner Bob McNair's deposition Friday in regards to Kaepernick's collusion case against the NFL, Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Video of Kaepernick working out in Houston surfaced Thursday.

Kaepernick filed a grievance against commissioner Roger Goodell and NFL owners - including McNair, Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys, Paul Allen of the Seattle Seahawks, and Robert Kraft of the New England Patriots - back in October under the belief the parties conspired to keep him out of the league.

Kaepernick was spotted by TMZ Sports walking out of the deposition with his attorney.
