Just when you thought the Philadelphia Eagles' defensive front couldn't get any more intimidating.
The defending Super Bowl champions will add veteran defensive tackle Haloti Ngata on a one-year deal, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen report.
The transaction comes after the pending acquisition of Michael Bennett via trade.
The Eagles are currently over the cap and will have to find room to incorporate these additions. They're reportedly shopping defensive end Vinny Curry.
Philadelphia's vaunted stable of D-linemen is led by Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Timmy Jernigan, Chris Long, and Derek Barnett.
