The New Orleans Saints swept the Rookie of the Year awards at the NFL Honors show on Saturday, as Marshon Lattimore was named Defensive Rookie of the Year after teammate Alvin Kamara claimed the offensive award.

The Saints finished ninth in the league in completion percentage allowed during the former Ohio State star's debut season, up from a league-worst 32nd in 2016. Lattimore led all first-year players with five interceptions and contributed 52 tackles during the club's run to the NFC divisional playoff round.

New Orleans became just the second team in NFL history to win both the offensive and defensive Rookie of the Year awards in the same season, joining the 1967 Detroit Lions in the record books.
