Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood announced Friday he has suffered a career-ending neck injury.
Wood announced that the injury was discovered during his postseason physical and he'll reveal more details in a press conference Monday:
I was diagnosed with a neck injury as part of my season-ending physical with the Bills. After consultation with Dr. Cappuccino and other physicians, I was informed that I was no longer cleared to play football, even with surgery or further treatment.

The 2015 Pro Bowler's injury is partly due to wear and tear, but one source told ESPN's Adam Schefter it's also a "complicated medical situation."
The 31-year-old has been a mainstay of the Bills offensive line since he was taken in the first round by Buffalo in 2009, starting 120 games over that span. He played every offensive snap for the Bills this season, including the postseason.
