Philadelphia bakery bans Boston cream doughnuts ahead of Super Bowl

Boston cream doughnuts are temporarily off the menu at one bakery in Philadelphia.

Dottie's Donuts announced Monday on Instagram that it won't be serving any New England-style doughnuts "until the Eagles win the Super Bowl."

Until the eagles win the super bowl we won’t be serving our Boston cream donuts or any other “New England themed” donuts. Replacing the boston cream is our cookies and cream donut. #goeagles🏈 #gobirds🦅

The shop also unveiled a new creation inspired by the Crisco-slathered light poles that Eagles fans were seen climbing after Sunday's NFC Championship Game.
