The Indianapolis Colts have narrowed their coaching search to two.
New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and Houston Texans defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel are the finalists for the vacant head coaching gig, though more candidates could emerge, Albert Breer of The MMQB reports, citing sources.
The Colts fired head coach Chuck Pagano at the end of the regular season, calling an end to his six-year tenure.
McDaniels is currently involved in the Patriots' playoff run which continues in a divisional matchup Saturday. Vrabel, a former Patriots linebacker, has steadily climbed the coaching ranks, from position coach in 2014 to defensive coordinator this season, and is a hot head-coaching candidate.
