Trump says players run NFL due to kneeling during anthem
Donald Trump continues to be easily set off by any NFL player who chooses not to stand at attention during the American national anthem.
After blasting the league for reportedly considering forcing players to stay in the locker room during the anthem, Trump was again angered by the sight of players kneeling on Thanksgiving.
Trump responded to a tweet attempting to call out New York Giants defensive end Olivier Vernon for kneeling during the anthem Thursday night, drawing the conclusion that Roger Goodell has lost control of the NFL.
Can you believe that the disrespect for our Country, our Flag, our Anthem continues without penalty to the players. The Commissioner has lost control of the hemorrhaging league. Players are the boss! https://t.co/udXP5MR8BC

Trump has been ridiculing Goodell since before he took office, and since the commissioner refused to create rules forcing players to stand for the anthem, the U.S. president has been relentless in his act.
