Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith will be sidelined for a second straight game Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, Jane Slater of NFL Network reports.
Smith is dealing with groin and back issues, which forced him to miss the Cowboys' Week 10 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Slater added that Byron Bell is expected to play in his place versus the Eagles.
It was evident against Atlanta how important Smith is to the Cowboys, as Falcons pass rusher Adrian Clayborn teed off for six sacks.
Dallas is trying to stay in the hunt in the NFC East and a loss to the Eagles would almost certainly put the division title out of reach.
