Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston will undergo further X-rays and receive an MRI on his shoulder, a source told Pro Football Talk.

Winston was replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick at halftime in the 30-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints after taking a number of hits in the opening frame. He struggled in his time on the field, throwing for just 67 yards.

Winston has battled the lingering shoulder issue for weeks, initially spraining his AC joint in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals. He left that contest early on, but returned to the lineup for the last two games prior to Sunday.

The 23-year-old has struggled the last two weeks, completing 28 of 51 passes for 277 yards and two interceptions.
