The NFL hasn't decided whether to sanction Miami Dolphins linebacker Kiko Alonso for his hit on Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, a source told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
A decision could be reached over the weekend.
Alonso connected with Flacco's head, rendering the quarterback concussed. Although Alonso was penalized for unnecessary roughness, he was not ejected from the game.

Flacco slid to surrender himself and Alonso flew in to deliver a crushing hit at the last possible second.
Alonso defended his actions, saying there's no way he could've avoided the contact, stating Flacco slid too late.
Baltimore defeated Miami 40-0.
