The Cleveland Browns placed No. 1 overall draft pick Myles Garrett in concussion protocol after he reported to the team facility with concussion-like symptoms on Tuesday.

The move puts the rookie's status for the Browns' Week 8 game against the Minnesota Vikings in London, England, in serious doubt.

Garrett missed the first four games of the season due to an ankle injury he picked up just before the campaign began. He played in the past three games and already leads the team in sacks with four.

Cleveland will already be without franchise stalwart Joe Thomas for the rest of the season after he suffered a torn triceps last weekend. The Browns are scheduled to fly overseas on Thursday, making it likely their franchise defensive end won't make the trip either.
