President Donald Trump continued his offensive against the NFL on Saturday, demanding that all players stand during the national anthem ahead of Sunday's games.

Trump suggested NFL owners should fire players who continued to protest during the national anthem at a rally in Alabama on Sept. 22. His comments were met with a league-wide backlash, as several teams stepped up their protests against police brutality and racial inequality.

As players continued to protest, the president continued to seethe, posting three different Twitter rants in consecutive days.

Many players asked Trump to focus his attention elsewhere - namely, toward relief efforts in Puerto Rico, after the island was ravaged by Hurricane Maria. For the time being, however, the NFL appears to be his main target, and it remains to be seen how the teams will respond as he focuses on them for the second straight week.
