Thursday's game between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers has resumed after lightning forced a delay at the beginning of the second quarter that lasted 47 minutes.

The opening quarter was played in excellent conditions, but advancing storms brought the lightning to the Green Bay area, forcing the stoppage of play. Immediately after the decision to halt the game, significant rain began to fall at Lambeau Field.

The Packers went to the locker room leading 14-0, taking advantage of two Mike Glennon fumbles in the opening frame.
